Right of Withdrawal
Consumers who enter into a distance contract have a general right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period begins on the day the contract is concluded.
Exception for Event Tickets
Access keys (tickets) for events with a specific date and time are exempt from the right of withdrawal. Since events take place at a fixed time and cannot be rescheduled at will, they fall under the statutory exception for leisure services tied to a specific date.
Legal basis: BGB § 312g Abs. 2 Nr. 9 — the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the provision of services related to leisure activities if the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance.
Your Rights
Although the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to event tickets, each organizer may set their own refund policy. Please check the event details for the applicable refund conditions.
If an event is cancelled by the organizer, you are entitled to a full refund of the ticket price.
Where permitted by the organizer, tickets may be transferable to another person. Check the event details for transfer options.
