Toki-O Nights: Powered by Technics (Nina Yamada)

Toki-O Nights is a free to attend series, in partnership with Technics, launching on 3 June at Spiritland King’s Cross, Toki-O Nights is a new listening bar series inspired by Japan’s kissaten culture.

Opening the series is Nina Yamada, the Kamakura-born, London-based DJ and founder of Jazzy Sport London, whose vinyl-rooted sets move between deep house, Afrobeat, jazz, Latin and reggae.

With hi-fi sound from Technics and Toki Highballs served throughout the night, the event draws on the slower, more intentional spirit of Japanese listening-bar culture.
