We reconvene for a third edition of SUBSTRATE on the longest day of the year to dive into a session of hypnotic techno with extended three-hour sets.

Marking the summer solstice and the midpoint of the year, our ecosystem comes together for a ritual of sound and release. Through carefully curated extended three-hour sets, the night unfolds never exceeding 140 bpm, allowing the artists to patiently build narratives and fully explore themes of contrast between light and darkness. Coherence through sound being one of our fundamental values, the curation aims at creating an immersive experience providing the atmosphere to travel to the deeper layers of the self.

Elegance in sound design is very dear to us, a custom-built sound system delivers our vision of techno with smoothness and precision while never sacrificing the power of low-end frequencies.

Our artists are carefully sourced from the underground, dedicated selectors, chosen for their ability to guide a dancefloor through all phases of the night.

SUBSTRATE lives within the delicate symbiosis of music and lights meeting in the dark. The light designers are key figures, as essential to the creation of an atmosphere as the musical artist they illuminate.
