Da formação clássica aos Technics, Sonja Moonear construiu uma carreira de mais de duas décadas como DJ e produtora, reconhecida pela sua selecção criteriosa de discos e pelo seu talento para o techno com influências funk, house psicadélico e batidas de alta sofisticadas. Esta nativa da Suíça, iniciou-se na cena vibrante dos squats de Genebra nos anos 90, integrando-se, posteriormente, na cena minimal que a levou até à Perlon, e ao Club Der Visionaere. Depois disso, o resto é história.

From classical training to the Technics turntables, Sonja Moonear has built a career spanning more than two decades as a DJ and producer, renowned for her meticulous record selection and her talent for techno infused with funk influences, psychedelic house and highly sophisticated beats. A native of Switzerland, she first emerged from the vibrant squat scene of Geneva in the 1990s, later becoming part of the minimal scene that led her to Perlon and Club der Visionaere. After that, the rest is history.
