About this event

What part of your life are you trying too hard to control?

NO ERROR NO LIFE is a portal. A temporary condition where sound, voice, image and presence become a passage through uncertainty.Following its premiere during the opening weekend of Fotografia Europea Festival inside the ancient Benedictine cloisters of San Pietro, NO ERROR NO LIFE arrives in Berlin for a special evening combining a live performance from the debut album, a Mae Symposium, and the official premiere of Nothing Here.Created by Beatrice Ziliani and Alberto Codeluppi, the project explores a simple but radical proposition:Error is not the opposite of life. Error is what allows life to happen. At a time when perfection, optimisation and control increasingly shape how we work, perform and relate to ourselves, NO ERROR NO LIFE investigates what remains when certainty begins to dissolve.Through electronic soundscapes, spoken voice, minimal performative actions and immersive atmospheres, the work unfolds as a journey through fear, control, vulnerability and transformation. What emerges is not a narrative, but a condition.A space where identities soften.Where mistakes lose their stigma.Where uncertainty becomes something to inhabit rather than eliminate.

I. Live Performance

The evening begins with a live performance by Beatrice Ziliani and Alberto Codeluppi.Voice, electronic music, silence and gesture merge into a single environment where listening becomes physical. The performance moves through states of tension and release, echoing the project's central question:What happens when we stop trying to control every outcome?Rather than presenting answers, the work invites participants to remain inside uncertainty long enough for perception itself to shift.

II. Mae Symposium

Following the performance, the group gathers for the Mae Symposium.Together, participants reflect on themes that emerged during the experience: perfectionism, vulnerability, surrender, identity and the role of error in personal transformation. The Symposium becomes a space where the artistic experience opens into collective reflection, allowing participants to connect the work with their own lives and perceptions.

III. Official Premiere: Nothing Here

The evening continues with the official premiere of Nothing Here, the new film developed as part of the NO ERROR NO LIFE universe.Set inside a fragile architectural structure suspended between shelter and enclosure, the film explores themes of paralysis, surrender and becoming.Darkness, breath, light and repetition create an emotional landscape where "nothing" is not absence, but potential — a threshold before meaning takes shape. Not a place of disappearance.A place where something can begin again. As the film unfolds, the boundaries between cinema and live performance gradually dissolve, opening into a final performative chapter that brings the evening full circle through sound, presence and transformation.### About the ArtistsBeatrice Ziliani is an interdisciplinary artist working across sound, painting, spoken poetry and performance. Her practice explores emotional transformation through symbolic and dream-like environments where vulnerability, courage and identity remain in constant motion.Alberto Codeluppi is a musician, composer and sound designer working between electronic music, performance art and neuroscience. Drawing from research in psychology and perception, his work investigates sound as a medium capable of shaping attention, emotion and embodied experience. This is a Mae Special event.Spots are limited.

The evening includes a live performance, a guided Mae Symposium, the official premiere of Nothing Here, and a final performative epilogue. No prior knowledge of contemporary art, music or performance is needed.
