Club culture didn't arrive from nowhere. It was built in the backrooms and basements of New York, Chicago, Detroit, by queer communities of colour who needed spaces of their own, long before those spaces were safe or recognised. That history isn't just context: it's the foundation our culture and everything surrounding it stands on.

On Christopher Street Day, Blitz is what it intends to be every other night of the year: a space for all forms of queerness and non-binary identities, for everyone the world still too often asks to make themselves smaller or to disappear completely. And the fight hasn't gotten easier. Reactionary laws multiply; rights that felt settled are being contested again. The urgency hasn't faded.

So we dance; not as escapism, but as affirmation. Hours and hours and hours of music across the Blitz and PLUS floors and our Bistro floor, continuing well into Sunday evening. Queer trailblazers, trusted residents, international selectors, back to back sets and much more.
A full day and night of the culture that started all of this. The last Pride party at Blitz Club on Museumsinsel.
